About
An independent publication on marketing for manufacturers.
BUILT & MARKETED is written for the people doing the work: marketers inside manufacturers, engineers who ended up owning the marketing, owners marketing their own companies, and the agencies and partners who support them. Everything here is free to read and written to be used.
The editor
Andy Trambley is a marketing and media professional focused on helping B2B and industrial organizations communicate complex ideas clearly. His experience includes marketing strategy, brand development, digital content, executive communications, photography, video, and campaign execution, with a strong connection to manufacturing and other operationally complex businesses.
His article about building buyer trust through the Road Tested Parts brand is one example of writing grounded in field experience.
Why this platform exists
Manufacturing organizations are full of strong people, deep technical knowledge, specialized processes, and valuable proof. Those strengths do not automatically become strong marketing. Someone still has to identify the audience, find the clearest message, capture the right evidence, and deliver the story in a form people can understand and use. BUILT & MARKETED covers that work in plain language, one practical article at a time.

My approach
Useful marketing starts with clarity. Understand the audience. Understand the problem. Decide what the audience needs to know, feel, or do. Identify the proof that makes the message credible. Then choose the content, visual, and channel that give the idea the best chance of working. Tools will keep changing, but that discipline remains valuable.
Editorial standards
The platform will distinguish fact from opinion, link to meaningful sources, correct material errors, identify sponsored or paid relationships, and use only approved real-world photography and footage. No client claim, facility image, interview quotation, or business result will be published without appropriate verification and permission.
