Built & Marketed

Editorial standards

What gets published here, and what does not.

These rules apply to every Insight, Field Story, and application post on BUILT & MARKETED.

01

Claims are stated plainly

Nothing is published as fact unless it can be supported. No invented results, client names, testimonials, awards, or performance figures appear anywhere on this site. Where a number is used, its source is named.

02

Sources are visible

Articles that rely on outside research list their sources so readers can check the original. Frameworks presented as opinion are labeled as opinion rather than dressed up as evidence.

03

Real workplaces require permission

Facility photography, video, and customer stories are published only after permission, safety review, confidentiality review, and factual verification. When a detail cannot be verified or shared, it is left out.

04

Articles stay practical

Articles connect established marketing concepts to practical decisions. Each one states the idea, the situation where it applies, and the way a marketer can use it.

05

Corrections are made in the open

When something is wrong, it is fixed and the change is noted rather than quietly removed. Substantive updates carry an updated date on the article.

06

AI is a tool, not an author

Every published piece is written, edited, and verified by a person. Assistive tools may support drafting or research, but responsibility for accuracy sits with the author.
